The Regional Office of the National Water Resources Management Committee 2 (RWRC 2) conducted a field visit to monitor the progress of the project related to the feasibility study, survey, design, and environmental impact assessment for the project to conserve, restore, and develop water resources in the Lam Plai Mat wetland basin, Buriram Province (February 5, 2026).

Ms. Kanda Kuprasert, Director of Water Resource Development Division 2, assigned Ms. Manasanan Thanukulwutiroj, Director of the Environmental Impact Assessment and Analysis Section, along with the procurement acceptance committee, to visit the site to monitor the consultant's work and jointly survey the Lam Plai Mat wetland and water sources in Kan Lueang, Thung Saeng Thong, and Nong Bot sub-districts, Nang Rong District, Buriram Province. The purpose was to find solutions to water resource problems and to gather information for planning the project in collaboration with local community leaders. This included discussions on water resource management in the area, approaches to conserving and restoring water sources and distribution systems, and to receive valuable suggestions for the project.
